I just came across this by chance and could not turn it off! I loved the story and the music. Thank you Sting for sharing memories of your youth and the people around the shipyard in such an eloquent way❤️ I will listen to it over and over again!

Saw the pre Broadway run show in Chicago and was blown away. The whole cast was nothing short of amazing. Was able to find the original soundtrack on cd a few years ago.

I would have loved to hear who came up with the name and why it was called Bohemian Rapsody...

"The Last Ship Sails" is Nantucket Island's motto, anthem and Theme Song because it talks about the collapse of the whaling industry and subsequent closure of its shipyards, leaving the island in economic collapse for centuries!

"A Practical Arrangement" -how is this the one they cut !?! Every listening brings me so much joy. My shipyard town in Weymouth, Mass. hasn’t the charm of Geordie Newcastle, but my late 50’s & early 60’s childhood knows these characters and transforms boots up & down Tyneside into Chevy and Fords etc. heading on home past Wessagussett Beach 🚩🏴🏁🏳️🏴‍☠️

This is brilliant....it's such a shame the broadway version did not do well....I think if they had kept it simple and intimate like this concert version, it would have been a hit....

Mijn vader vond dit een mooi nummer. 30 jaar lang was hij hartpatient en 30 jaar lang dacht hij dat hij ieder moment kon sterven aan een hartinfarct. Het werd een verwoestende hersenbloeding en zelfs toen lukte het de dood niet direct om hem te vinden. Tot 3 jaar geleden, toen hij werd verlost van zijn bed in het verzorgingstehuis. Ik denk elke dag aan hem. Dit lied raakt mij extra. Houd van elkaar. Laat de onbelangrijke dingen gaan. Het leven is kort.

Quite how it's taken me so long to discover this I don't know but as a homesick Geordie whose grandfather worked in the shipyards it's a wonderful tribute.

The freshness of this whole music is astonishing.

Brilliant!" Show some respect" reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd's "In the Flesh" with the rhythm and the tune. It's a completely different song obviously, but I'm sure someone could mash them and pay major respect to each.

if i was asked who 's the happiest man in the world i'd answer Sting , he's probably the best song writter et one of the greatest poetes of our time, he met the greatest ( and humble) peoples at the peack of their art and share whith intensity the richness of what he became through all these years : a real man strong and wise never selfish nor egotic...who could had foreseen this at the time of Police ??

"So to speak" make me cry everytime...
